Tomato rice – 6+ months

Ingredients:

1. Tomato – 1 small

2. Rice – 1/4 cup

3. salt as reqd

4. turmeric pwdr- 1/6 tsp

5.  mustard seeds – 1/4 tsp

6. oil – 1/2 tsp

7. Ghee – 1/2 tsp

8. Garlic – 1 pod

Method: 1

1. Boil tomatoes n garlic together. Remove the skin n grind it to a fine paste.

2. Pour oil in a pan, splutter mustard seeds, turmeric pwdr n curry leaves.

3. Now add the ground paste, little water n salt, and allow it boil until it becomes a thick consistency.

4. Smash the rice n add the tomato gravy along with ghee n serve it.

Method : 2

1. Peel the skin of the tomatoes n de-seed it. finely chop or smash or grind the garlic.

2. Cut into small pieces.

3. Pour oil in a pan, n splutter mustard seeds.

4. Now, add the tomatoes, ground garlic, salt n turmeric pwdr n cook with closed lid in a low flame.

5. When the tomatoes are smashed well n becomes a thick gravy, remove from fire.

6. Mix it with rice n ghee n serve it.
