Carrot rice (6 – 12 months)
This is SAMz favourite !!!
Ingredients:
1. Rice (cooked) – 1/4 cup
2. Carrot – 1 small
3. Garlic – 1 pod
4. Ghee – 1/2 tsp
5. Turmeric pwdr – 2 pinch
6. Salt as reqd.
Method:
1. Peel the skin n cut the carrot into small pieces.
2. Add salt, 1 cup water, turmeric pwdr, carrot in a pan (or pressure cook) until the carrot is done.
3. Coarse grind the rice, carrot, ghee, salt n 2 tsps of remaining water.
4. Optional : season it with mustard seeds n curry leaves before u serve. Add a pinch of asofetida while seasoning.
